Anne Emmanuel de Crussol d'Amboise

Elected to the Estates General by the nobility in Poitiers after five decades of distinguished military service. Crussol d'Amboise was arrested in 1793 and guillotined on 26 July 1794. It is unclear how his friendship with the duchess came about, but they must have moved in the same social circle at some time in the Pre-Revolutionary era.
