Pierre-Louis Manuel

Manuel was an ally of Pétion on the Paris Commune, and helped plan the insurrection of 10 August 1792 against the king. However, after election to the Convention his attitude towards Louis XVI appears to have softened considerably. He was eventually arrested and guillotined during the Terror for allegedly conspiring to save the king's life.
