Philippe-Nicolas-Marie de Pâris

Pâris was a royalist who had previously served Louis XVI as a member of the king's bodyguard. After assassinating deputy Michel Lepeletier on the eve of Louis XVI's execution, Pâris escaped to Normandy but killed himself soon after to avoid capture.
